Martha Engber is an author, journalist, editor, and workshop facilitator who has written and been published in numerous genres and formats. Her newest novel, The Falcon, the Wolf, and the Hummingbird tells the story of Pina, a young Native American warrior who must fight against fierce invaders to save her tribe — and spirit — from annihilation in precolonial southern New England.
Linda Kass began her career as a magazine writer and correspondent for regional and national publications. The owner of an independent bookstore, Gramercy Books, Kass resides just outside of Columbus, Ohio, where she is a longtime civic leader. Her newest novel, Bessie, reimagines the early life of Bess Myerson, the talented daughter of poor Russian Jewish immigrants, who, in the bigoted milieu of 1945, remarkably rises to become Miss America.
Kerry Chaput is an award-winning historical fiction author. She writes adventure stories featuring young women, found family, first love, and a touch of magic. Her newest novel, Chasing Eleanor, takes readers on an adventure of the heart, where a young woman finds hope in the most unlikely places. A touching tribute to the great Eleanor Roosevelt, this adventure- filled story will entertain and inspire all ages.
Kathleen B. Jones taught Women’s Studies for twenty-four years at San Diego State University. She is a writer of academic articles, creative nonfiction, essays and short fiction, and plays. Inspired by a decade of research, her new novel, Cities of Women, examines the lives of women who dare to challenge the social norms of their days, risking their reputations and livelihoods for the sake of their passions.
