History Through Fiction is proud to announce the addition of Robin Henry as our Short Story Acquisitions Editor.

Robin Henry is the founder of Readerly, a book coaching platform that provides support, structure, and strategies for writers who are serious about finishing their books. She is the host of the podcast Read Like a Writer Book Club where she looks at great books, past and present, through the lens of a writer. Robin has a Master of Library Science and a Master of Arts in Humanities and is an Author Accelerator Certified Book Coach. Additionally, she is a librarian, adjunct professor of Humanities and Library Science, and an independent scholar with over twenty years of experience working with books and authors as a reviewer, book award committee member, writing teacher, and coach. As the Short Story Acquisitions Editor, Robin will read and evaluate all short story and novel excerpt submissions, choosing which stories merit publication in History Through Fiction’s member-only content area.  

Short stories and novel excerpts are published on the first of each month and are available digitally in History Through Fiction’s member-only content area. All stories are carefully curated and authors are paid a twenty-five dollar honorarium for their work. As a part of the publishing agreement, author’s give History Through Fiction first-rights to publish meaning that all short stories and novel excerpts are exclusive to History Through Fiction and have not been published anywhere else.
