Announcing the Next Round of Manuscript Matchup: April - June 2025

We're excited to announce that registrations are now open for the second cycle of our Manuscript Matchup program, hosted by History Through Fiction. Running from April to June 2025, this exclusive Beta Reader Matching Program is designed to elevate your manuscript with invaluable feedback before submission.

Join our unique community, crafted by writers for writers, and unlock the potential of your manuscript. Hosted by Jillian Forsberg, the outstanding author of The Rhino Keeper and The Porcelain Menagerie, this program offers a supportive environment where every word counts and every critique is a stepping stone to success.

How It Works:

  1. Select “Book” and Complete Our Form: Share your style, genre, and the heart of your manuscript through a simple form. This helps us find the perfect match for your work.

  2. Become Part of the Cycle: In our community, giving equals receiving. By submitting your manuscript, you also become a beta reader. It's a mutual exchange of insights and perspectives.

  3. Learn from the Best: Before the matchmaking begins, Jillian will an instructional video on how to be an effective beta reader. We believe informed feedback is the best kind.

  4. Discover Your Match: We pair each manuscript with a fellow writer-reader, ensuring a personalized reading experience. You'll receive a set of questions to guide your review process.

  5. Connect and Reflect: After 3 months of thoughtful reading and critiquing, we reunite for a debrief and social hour. Share experiences, network, and grow together.
