Indigo Editing, Design, and More has opened applications to their 2024 Author Diversity Scholarship.

“The author scholarship recipient receives $1,200 in Indigo services to help them create a book that will inspire positive change in publishing and the world.”

To submit, Indigo requires the following materials:

“Write an essay of up to 1,000 words about how your demographic is underrepresented in the publishing industry. What effect has that underrepresentation had on you personally and on others in your community? How does your book amplify marginalized voices and improve the book world? How would this scholarship help you reach your audience better? Also include a synopsis/summary and a five-page sample from your book.”

Submit your application by emailing all components (essay, synopsis, and manuscript sample) to info@indigoediting.com by the deadline of July 31, 2024. The winner will be announced in August. See the website attached below for more information.
