Once a year the Association of Writers & Writing Programs (AWP) hosts the AWP Conference & Bookfair. This years conference took place March 27 – March 30 at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon. With more than 12,000 attendees, 2,000 presenters, and 550 readings, panels, and craft lectures, the AWP Conference & Bookfair boasts that it is the largest literary conference in North America. As a student of Augsburg University, History Through Fiction editor Colin Mustful was proud to represent Howling Bird Press at the conference.

Colin Mustful

Colin Mustful is the founder and editor of History Through Fiction. He is the author of four historical novels about the settlement and Native history of the Upper Midwest.
