History Through Fiction Welcomes New Talent: Hannah Karau and Amanda Symes Join the Team

Minneapolis, MN – October 21, 2024 – History Through Fiction and its imprint HTF Publishing are thrilled to announce the addition of two talented professionals, Hannah Karau and Amanda Symes, as contracted employees. Hannah joins as a Content Management Assistant, while Amanda steps in as an Associate Editor.

Hannah Karau, a recent graduate of the University of Minnesota, brings her passion for writing and the publishing industry to our team. With a background in English literature and creative writing, Hannah has already made her mark as a freelance editor and a published poet, with works featured in Gemini Magazine and The Five-Two. Amanda Symes, known as A.M. Symes, is a storyteller at heart. With an MFA in Fiction Writing and Publishing, Amanda has honed her skills in story development, editing, and wordsmithing. Her experience includes working as a communication specialist and engaging in publishing through her Dead Birds Writing Group. Amanda has also contributed as a judge for the Minnesota Book Awards and the History Through Fiction Short Story competition. Her stories have reached audiences through various print publications and podcasts.

Founded in 2019 by Minnesota Author and Historian Colin Mustful, History Through Fiction is dedicated to publishing high-quality fiction rooted in accurate historical research. Our books combine fictional narratives with nonfiction elements, offering readers an immersive and educational experience. HTF Publishing, our hybrid imprint established in 2023, continues this tradition by working with authors who are committed to crafting well-researched historical novels.
